You wouldn’t know it by the speed in which this lil’ guy went, but he was super tired. He just wanted to roam freely. But, with a lake nearby, Mom and Dad weren’t amused by the thought of him running straight in for a swim. Once he had a snack in hand though, I was able to get some sweet shots of him sitting in the grass.

Meet Charlie! He’s the sweet new puppy addition I was fortunate enough to meet this past weekend. This past Christmas, Santa Claus brought this adorable puppy to this most-deserving kiddo, and what a complimenting pair they are!
I’ve known this amazing family of three for almost five years now. In fact, this lil’ guy was in my class a couple years ago, and I will always remember and adore him.
What a fun morning it was, even if it was a bit frigid. Thanks for being flexible Mom and Dad! Talk with you soon!

These two kiddos were so sweet with one another. There was no need to coach them, they were constantly showing affection for one another. It melted my heart! I especially loved how this lil’ gal preferred galloping to walking. So cute!

So most people who know me, know this: I don’t have much patience. When I look at the pictures after a shoot, all I want to do is edit and share as fast as possible. In fact, I feel bad when I don’t share the images within a week. I have been so busy these past two weeks and was unable to share these photos till now. After one and a half weeks… I finally get to show these gorgeous girls to you.
For them, it was just another fun day at the park with their parents. I was merely a fly on the wall (or a tree, in this case), which is EXACTLY where I like to be during a session. Lovely family!

That’s right! I was productive today. I am so excited to show these Mamas their photographs! I know how difficult it is to wait.

We did her shoot outside, where she could dance on the sidewalk and meet the passersby.
I got lucky enough to capture this unbelievably sweet 6-day-old.
This lil’ darlin’ was content wherever we were and hammed it up with ease.

This sweet little darling is the cutest little walker. During her session, she just wanted to push anything and everything around the store. She is precious!

What a fun time I had with this shoot, because as it goes in the life of “me”, I don’t spend enough time with many of the people I love. Catching up with my Aunt, cousins, and their significant others was incredibly refreshing and overdue.
I spent a little time after the family shoot snapping some photos of my cousin. She graduates from high school in May. Isn’t she stunning? Aren’t they all, for that matter?

Initially, we tried photographing baby Cannon indoors. But the distracting light, camera lens, and various other electronics were keeping us from getting a photograph free of “stuff”. Once we moved to the porch, and Cannon had no idea he was being photographed, we were able to capture some precious moments of curiosity and cuddles with Mama.
Thank you Mom and Dad for letting me spend some time with your sweet little guy and for your prop ideas. He really makes that pot look good!
